连云港碱业有限公司前身为中石化南京化学工业有限公司连云港碱厂，是国家“七五”期间新建的重点化工企业。1986年9月开工建设，1989年10月建成投产，1990年9月与南京化学工业有限公司合并组建了南京化学工业集团有限公司。1998年整体并入中国石化集团公司，2016年5月划归连云港市。 公司采用氨碱法制碱，现实际生产能力120万吨/年。主要产品有轻质纯碱、重质纯碱、低盐重质纯碱、食用碱、小苏打、二水氯化钙等。纯碱产品通过了ISO9001质量体系认证，“长江三角牌”纯碱荣获“中国名牌产品”称号、“中国化工十大*具国际竞争力品牌”。企业现有职工2000余人，其中专业技术管理人员近300人，中高级职称170余人。
