CRRC Chongqing Sifang Institute Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chongqing Intelligent Equipment"), formerly known as CRRC Chongqing Sifang Institute New Materials Co., Ltd., was jointly funded with 60 million yuan by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Jianfeng Industrial Group Co., Ltd. and registered in Chongqing in July 2015. It was renamed on August 31, 2018. It is a large state-owned enterprise controlled by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute Co., Ltd. and affiliated with CRRC Group. CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute Co., Ltd. is responsible for the R&D, production, operation and management activities of Chongqing Intelligent Equipment.
Chongqing Intelligent Equipment is mainly engaged in research and development, testing, manufacturing, and sales of: rail transit vehicle vibration and noise reduction systems, tire assemblies, bridge bearings, ordinary machinery, electronic products, intelligent terminal equipment, rubber products, automotive air suspension, new energy vehicle parts, auto parts, polyurethane polymer materials and products. It also provides design and installation of rail fastening systems, production of rail pads, vehicles and parts, vehicle supporting equipment, processing and assembly of vehicle parts, installation and commissioning of vehicle supporting equipment, and technical development and consulting for urban rail vehicles and high-speed railways.
As an important part of CRRC Group's rail transit industry chain in Southwest China, Chongqing Intelligent Equipment will focus on leveraging the overall advantages of CRRC Group, relying on the core technologies of CRRC Qingdao Sifang in the rail transit field, to develop in depth, form a Chongqing industrial base, and radiate to the Southwest region.
