Sinopharm Animal Health Corporation Ltd. (abbreviated as "Sinopharm Animal Health") is a subsidiary controlled by China National Biotec Group Company Limited under China National Pharmaceutical Group, renamed from Wuhan Zhongbo Biological Co., Ltd., and its predecessor was Hubei Biological Products Factory founded in 1971. It is engaged in the research and development, production, sales and technical services of veterinary biological products, and is a key enterprise in the domestic animal health industry.

Sinopharm Animal Health is a veterinary biological products enterprise in China with original new product capability. Its baculovirus expression technology, cell suspension culture technology, antigen concentration and purification technology, and high-throughput disease diagnostic technology are at the leading level*, and it has accumulated advanced R&D technologies and experience in the fields of whole virus (bacteria) vaccines, genetically engineered vaccines, diagnostic reagents, and therapeutic preparations. It currently has seven veterinary drug GMP workshops with a total of 13 production lines, capable of producing more than 60 varieties and over 130 specifications of vaccine products in seven major categories, with an annual capacity of more than 10 billion doses (heads).
