Shanghai Electric Power Installation No.2 Engineering Co., Ltd. was established in 1953. It is a national Class A general contracting enterprise for electric power engineering construction, affiliated to Shanghai Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. under China Power Construction Group. The company is mainly engaged in installation of thermal power generation equipment, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, municipal engineering construction, nuclear power, wind power, waste-to-energy plants, steel structures, non-standard equipment and fabrication and installation of heating, steam and water pipelines, electrical installations, substations, heating and ventilation equipment, and lifting equipment installation. It is a modern state-owned enterprise with nearly 60 years of experience in power station installation, mechanical and electrical equipment, and municipal engineering construction. Adhering to the business philosophy of "We can do better", the company has acquired installation and construction technology, management capabilities, and experience for large-scale thermal power generating units with single unit capacity of over 600MW and large complete sets of industrial equipment.
