厦门市爱心护理院由厦门市老年基金会负责筹资兴建，由厦门市医院经营管理，属于非营利性社会福利机构。主要接收60岁以上需要护理的老年人，其服务宗旨为：“帮天下儿女尽孝，给世上父母解难，为党和政府分忧”。厦门市爱心护理院位于厦门市区仙岳山中段南麓，北靠仙岳公园，东临仙岳医院，西傍雪峰寺，南达城市道路，环境优美，交通方便。设有医务室、康复室、理疗室等，备有心电图机、血球仪、全自动生化仪、尿液分析仪、各种康复治疗仪、中心供氧和吸引等先进设备。能为高龄、失能老人提供周到的护理服务。
