Xiamen Tungsten

Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. is a group-type joint-stock company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. It was formerly Xiamen Alumina Plant established in 1958, switched to tungsten products in 1982, restructured into Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. in 1997, and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2002 (stock code: 600549).
Xiamen Tungsten focuses on three core fields: tungsten and molybdenum, rare earth, and new energy materials. It has built a complete industrial chain from tungsten mining and dressing, tungsten-molybdenum smelting, and powder production to deep processing applications such as cemented carbide, tungsten and molybdenum wire products, and cutting tools, as well as recycling, with multiple technologies*. It has established a complete system covering rare earth mining, separation and smelting, and the application and R&D of rare earth permanent magnet materials, luminescent materials, and photoelectric crystals, setting a model of rare earth development driven by deep processing. It has cultivated R&D and large-scale manufacturing capabilities for mainstream lithium-ion cathode materials including ternary materials, lithium cobalt oxide, and lithium iron phosphate, becoming a first-class supplier in the field of lithium-ion cathode materials.
