Sanan Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was established in November 2000 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in July 2008 (stock code: 600703). Its headquarters is located in Xiamen, known as the "Garden on the Sea", with industrial bases distributed in Xiamen, Tianjin, Wuhu, Quanzhou, Ezhou and other regions. It is an enterprise designated as a "National High-tech Industrialization Demonstration Project" by the National Development and Reform Commission, has undertaken many major projects under the national "863" and "973" plans, and has a post-doctoral research workstation approved by the Ministry of Personnel and a nationally recognized enterprise technology center.

Sanan Optoelectronics is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of full-color ultra-high brightness LED epitaxial wafers and chips, III-V compound semiconductor materials, microwave communication integrated circuits and power devices, and optical communication components. The performance indicators of its products are at the leading level in the industry. Leveraging its strong corporate strength, after expanding the industrialization scale of LED epitaxial chip R&D and manufacturing in 2014 and investing in the integrated circuit industry, building gallium arsenide high-speed semiconductor and gallium nitride high-power semiconductor projects, in 2018, Sanan Optoelectronics invested RMB 33.3 billion in Nan'an High-tech Industrial Park, Quanzhou, Fujian, to invest in III-V compound semiconductor materials, LED epitaxy, chips, microwave integrated circuits, optical communication, RF filters, power electronics, SiC materials and devices, special packaging and other industries. After the project is completed in 2022, Sanan Optoelectronics will achieve a full industry chain layout in the high-end semiconductor compound field, and its high-tech and production scale will enter the international advanced ranks. In April 2019, the Mini / Micro LED chip R&D and manufacturing project with an investment of RMB 12 billion by Sanan Optoelectronics was successfully settled in Gedian, Ezhou City, Hubei Province, and will build a R&D base for three product series: Mini/Micro LED gallium nitride chips, Mini/Micro LED gallium arsenide chips, and packaging for 4K displays.
