Suzhou Zelgen Biopharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (referred to as Zelgen Pharmaceuticals), founded in 2009 and located in Kunshan National High-tech Zone, Jiangsu Province, is a Sino-foreign joint venture established by a management and technical team from the Chinese and American pharmaceutical sectors. It has four subsidiaries: Gensun Biopharmaceutical Company in the United States, Shanghai Zelgen Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Zelgen Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Zelgen Holdings. Zelgen Pharmaceuticals is committed to the independent R&D, production, and sales of innovative drugs. The company aims to become a leading enterprise in new drug R&D in fields such as oncology, hemorrhage and hematologic diseases, and hepatobiliary diseases in China. The company's market strategy is to focus on China while reaching the global market, developing and producing innovative drugs with independent intellectual property rights that are safe, effective, and affordable for patients, meeting the enormous medical demands at home and abroad.

A rich pipeline of new drugs is the guarantee of the company's success. Leveraging its extensive experience and expertise in new drug R&D, Zelgen Pharmaceuticals has successfully established two distinctive core technology platforms: a precision small molecule drug R&D and industrialization platform, and a complex recombinant protein new drug R&D and industrialization platform. Relying on these two technology platforms, the company has developed a rich product pipeline of small molecule and recombinant protein new drugs, covering liver cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, colorectal cancer, thyroid cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and other cancers and hematologic malignancies, as well as therapeutic areas such as hemorrhage and hepatobiliary diseases. Additionally, the company is actively advancing combination therapy studies with well-known domestic pharmaceutical companies on its small molecule targeted new drugs and anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies for tumor treatment.

Zelgen Pharmaceuticals has successively undertaken 5 national "Major New Drug Creation" projects, 1 National Science and Technology SME Technology Innovation Fund project, and multiple provincial-level science and technology projects in Jiangsu Province. The company has cumulatively filed over 130 invention patent applications worldwide, of which more than 60 have been granted in countries and regions such as China, the United States, and the European Union.

Zelgen Pharmaceuticals has three new drug R&D centers, located in Kunshan, Jiangsu; Zhangjiang Pharmaceutical Valley, Shanghai; and California, United States.

At the Kunshan headquarters of Zelgen Pharmaceuticals, a GMP production workshop for oral solid chemical drug formulations and a GMP production workshop for recombinant protein drugs have been built, and drug production licenses for tablets, capsules, and recombinant protein drugs have been obtained. The completion of these two industrialization platforms ensures that Zelgen Pharmaceuticals possesses more flexible production and supply capabilities and advantageous cost control.
