Magenostics (Chongqing) Gene Technology Co., Ltd. was established in June 2017 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Magenostics Gene Technology Joint-stock Co., Ltd. Beijing Magenostics Gene Technology Joint-stock Co., Ltd. was established in 2011 and currently has over one hundred employees, located in Area B of Beijing Shunyi Airport Industrial Park. At present, the company has been recognized as a "National High-tech Enterprise," "Zhongguancun High-tech Enterprise," "2012 International Technology Transfer Project of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission," "Beijing Overseas Talent," "2013 Science and Technology New Star of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission," and has undertaken a sub-project of the "973" Program and received multiple funds including the "Technology Innovation Fund for Technology-based SMEs of the Ministry of Science and Technology."
One of the company's core technologies is the self-developed efficient DNA capture technology combined with next-generation gene sequencing, which enables large-scale genetic research or screening.
The company relies on the Johns Hopkins University Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center as its technology research and development platform, dedicated to developing the most advanced and stable gene capture technologies, applying high-throughput capture sequencing technology with independent intellectual property rights to personalized genetic research, and developing a series of personalized gene capture kits applicable to clinical research, striving to advance large-scale genetic diagnosis into clinical applications. To date, the company has developed capture kits suitable for hematological diseases, immune system diseases, neurological diseases, tumor-related genes, deafness, and ophthalmology-related genes, capable of efficiently completing large-scale clinical genome sequencing research and promoting the development and application of clinical genomics.
