永丰县生活垃圾焚烧发电厂是省市重点民生工程，采用模式建设，设计处理总规模为日处理生活垃圾1200吨，计划分为两期实施，其中一期规模为800吨日，已并网发电，项目年发电量为1.6644108(其中一期1.1096108），特许经营期限为30年，总投资约5亿元，服务范围包括永丰县、新干县、峡江县全境及吉水县9镇（八都镇、双村镇、乌江镇、丁江镇、冠山乡、白水镇、螺田镇、白沙镇、水南镇）。服务人口约130万。
