昆明海关技术中心是隶属昆明海关，主要从事食品、动物、植物、金属、化工、矿产、环保等领域的综合性检测机构。技术中心本部位于昆明市广福路359号，本部实验室面积约1.3万平方米，拥有各类仪器设备1800多台套，设备总值2亿多元。在大理、曲靖、怒江、建水、弥勒、勐腊等多个地州设有分中心，并建立了10个重点实验室检测平台，是检测技术一流、设备齐全、管理规范、科学发展的检测机构。
