Shanghai Shangmei Cosmetics Co., Ltd. is a science-driven, multi-brand domestic cosmetics company.

Founded in 2002, Shangmei owns brands such as Hanshu, One Leaf, and Little Red Elephant, covering skincare, mother and baby care, and hair care. It has established two research centers and two supply chains in China and Japan, leveraging global scientific research to serve Chinese brands. Shangmei has a research and development team of over 200 members led by 7 internationally renowned scientists. Since 2016, it has been investing in basic research, making it a pioneer in basic research among domestic cosmetics companies, and has achieved 3 major basic research results.

In 2021, Shangmei Group was the domestic cosmetics company with two skincare brands (Hanshu and One Leaf) each achieving annual retail sales exceeding 1.5 billion yuan, and its mother and baby brand Little Red Elephant exceeded 1.8 billion yuan in annual retail sales, ranking first among domestic mother and baby care brands. From 2015 to 2021, we ranked among the top 5 domestic brand groups in retail sales for 7 consecutive years.
