China-US Huashitong Biomedical Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") was established in 2009, located in Wuhan Optics Valley Biological City, founded by Dr. Zhang Faming, a national distinguished expert, and a group of high-level talents from home and abroad.
The Company has established an R&D and production platform for polymer innovative drugs and polymer APIs to intermediates, and is a leading enterprise in its segment. The Company is committed to the R&D, production, and sales of innovative drugs and generics for metabolic diseases such as kidney disease and diabetes. The Company is one of the major producers of several polymer drugs internationally, and has already obtained approval for marketing several generic drugs, with four Class I innovative drugs in clinical research stages.
The Company is a national high-tech enterprise, a Hubei Province specialized and sophisticated "Little Giant" enterprise in polymer drug development, and a 3551 talent base. The Company has filed over 140 patent applications, including over 120 invention patents, 17 PCT patent applications, and has been granted 37 invention patents, including multiple invention patents authorized in Europe, the United States, Japan, and Canada.
China-US Huashitong completed its shareholding reform in December 2020. In August 2022, the Company submitted its application materials for listing on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ), and in 2023, submitted materials to the Beijing Stock Exchange, striving to become a publicly trusted biopharmaceutical enterprise.
