'Recombinant Human Acidic Fibroblast Growth Factor for External Use (trade name: Aifujifu)' is the first drug for promoting wound healing, developed originally in China, exclusively available worldwide, listed in the National Medical Insurance Category B, and the first approved biological preparation drug of this kind. In September 2016, it obtained the Phase III clinical trial approval from the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) and has now entered Phase III clinical trials.
