Guangdong Academy of Sciences Institute of Analysis and Testing (China National Analytical Center Guangzhou) (abbreviated as "Zhongguangce") was established in 1972, with its predecessor being the Guangdong Provincial Central Experimental Station founded in 1960. Zhongguangce is a deputy department-level public institution managed by the Guangdong Academy of Sciences and is the largest and most comprehensive analytical testing center in South China. The institute is dedicated to research in fields closely related to analytical testing, such as resources and environment, materials and chemicals, food and drugs, public safety, and forensic technology, as well as the development, application, and service of analytical testing methods, technologies, and instruments. Currently, Zhongguangce has over 500 scientific research, technical, and management personnel, forming a professional team with a reasonable structure, strong technical capabilities, and rich practical experience in analytical testing technology research and service. The institute currently has nearly 30,000 square meters of scientific research and experimental space, possesses more than 3,600 sets of comprehensive instruments and equipment, and has established the "National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Green Materials and Products," the first national quality inspection center in green materials in China, as well as 11 provincial-level innovation platforms (including 1 key laboratory, 1 public laboratory, 1 emergency technology research center, and 8 engineering technology research centers), 2 provincial quality inspection stations, 1 doctoral workstation, and 1 postdoctoral research workstation.
