Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Cancer Research Institute of Sun Yat-sen University)

Our center is an affiliated cancer specialty hospital of a university directly under the Ministry of Education (formerly under the Ministry of Health). It was jointly established in July 1987 by the former "South China Cancer Hospital" (founded in 1964) and the "Cancer Research Institute of Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences". Through 40 years of efforts by several generations, our center has now developed into the largest-scale cancer education, research, and treatment base in South China, with a strong faculty, and first-class diagnosis and treatment technology and equipment. Our center is a "WHO Collaborating Centre for Cancer Research" and a "National Clinical Trial Research Center for New Drugs (Anti-tumor Drugs)", hosting the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education for "Tumor-related Genes and Anti-tumor Drug Research" and the State Key Laboratory of "South China Oncology". The oncology discipline has now become a national key discipline.

Due to the development needs of the hospital, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center now has a number of contract staff positions (non-establishment) open for recruitment of various professional and technical personnel nationwide.
