Nansha Modern Agriculture Industry Group

Guangzhou Nansha Modern Agriculture Industry Group was established on September 29, 2019, through the integration and restructuring of the former Guangzhou State-owned珠江 Overseas Chinese Agriculture, Industry and Commerce United Company and the former Guangzhou Nansha Reclamation Development Company. In August 2021, it was successfully restructured into Guangzhou Nansha Modern Agriculture Industry Group Co., Ltd., and is a first-tier state-owned enterprise group directly under the Administrative Committee of Guangzhou Nansha Development Zone.

Nansha Modern Agriculture Industry Group is a national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization. Adhering to the mission of "invigorating agriculture through science and technology, strengthening the enterprise through industry" and the goal of "becoming bigger, better, and stronger," it anchors the "12333" medium and long-term development strategy. It manages over 60,000 mu of cultivated land, has a property building area of over 200,000 square meters, total assets exceeding 8 billion yuan, and employs over 400 staff. It has 7 functional departments and 10 wholly-owned subsidiaries (including 2 provincial-level leading agricultural enterprises and 1 municipal-level leading agricultural enterprise), as well as 18 holding/participating enterprises.

The group mainly operates three major businesses: modern agricultural industry, green food, and land and property operations. It owns two modern agricultural industrial parks: Nansha Fishery Industrial Park and Nansha Urban Agriculture Experimental Park. It leads the implementation of the Nansha Pre-prepared Food Industrial Park and the Nansha Simiao Rice Industrial Park. It has completed benchmark modern agricultural projects such as an aquatic product sorting and processing center, beautiful fishery farms, central kitchens, Bay Area Agricultural Valley, greenhouse aeroponic greenhouses, and the Nansha blueberry planting base. The group has established an innovation research institute, with 1 subsidiary recognized as a high-tech enterprise, 2 enterprises recognized as Guangdong Province "dual recognition" for scientific and technological innovation, and has accumulated 48 intellectual property rights. It has created the regional public agricultural brand "Select Nansha" for the Nansha area, integrating three sub-brands: "Wanzhu," "Yuluwan," and "Nanyuhui." Among them, "Nansha Green Crab" has obtained the national geographical indication certification trademark and has been selected as a national famous, special, and new agricultural product and a China organic product; "Wanzhu Black Pearl Pork" has received the Guangdong Province famous brand product and Guangdong Province famous, special, and new agricultural product titles.
