Beiguihongdu Planning and Architectural Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beiguihongdu") is a wholly state-owned enterprise under the Beijing Municipal Institute of City Planning and Design, formed through the merger and reorganization of six affiliated enterprises, including the former Beijing Hongdu Urban Planning and Architectural Design Institute and Beijing Capital Planning and Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. After nearly three decades of accumulation, Beiguihongdu has developed into a comprehensive planning and architectural design research institute with five Grade-A qualifications in urban-rural planning, architectural engineering, engineering consulting, water resources argumentation, and hydrological and water resources survey and evaluation, as well as two Grade-B qualifications in land planning and landscape architecture.
Beiguihongdu Institute has 10 centers, 2 institutes, and 3 second-level companies, of which 70% of staff hold master's degrees or above, 30% hold senior technical titles, and 20% hold registered professional qualifications. The company's business covers territorial spatial planning, municipal planning, transportation planning, architectural design, landscape planning, big data informatization, planning extension services, engineering consulting, standard formulation research, as well as community cultivation and public welfare sectors.
