National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center (First Electronic Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology)

The National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center (First Electronic Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), abbreviated as the National Center for Industrial Information Security, was established in 1959. It is an influential research, consulting, and decision-support institution in China's industrial and information technology field, as well as a core intelligence research institution for electronic technology in the fields of science, technology, and equipment industry. It strives to become the national team for ensuring industrial information security, a think tank for serving digital development, a promoter for cultivating the software industry ecosystem, and a new force for promoting civil-military scientific and technological collaborative innovation.
The center's headquarters is located at No. 35 Lugu Road, Shijingshan District, Beijing (Dianke Building), with a scientific research and office area of over 50,000 square meters, providing a spacious, independent, well-equipped, comfortable, and quiet scientific research and office environment. At present, the center has built a high-quality and professional scientific research talent team, with more than 900 employees, and the number of middle and senior professional title personnel, highly educated and high-level young and middle-aged talents has continued to increase significantly.
In recent years, the center has undertaken multiple key national research and development programs, making every effort to consolidate business advantages in areas such as industrial information security, industrial digitization, software, and intellectual property, and making strong contributions to supporting and serving the construction of a manufacturing power and a cyber power.
