Founded by Mr. Zhang Ruiping in January 2006, eHi Car Rental is the first car rental enterprise in China to achieve full e-commerce management. Headquartered in Shanghai, the company has opened over 1,600 service outlets in more than 100 cities across the country, offering more than 100 car models, with service coverage nationwide. Since its inception, eHi has maintained a steady and rapid development, with key indicators such as rental rate and turnover rate ranking among the top in the industry. The company primarily provides comprehensive car rental services to individual and corporate users, including short-term rental, long-term rental, and customized services, supporting multiple booking methods such as online booking, phone booking, mobile terminal booking, and store booking, as well as various payment methods including cash, card, online payment, and stored-value card. Since its establishment in 2006, eHi Car Rental has continuously increased its overall investment, striving to make car rental, a green and sharing-oriented travel method, more acceptable to the public and beneficial to society as a whole. Because car sharing through rental can not only effectively improve the utilization of social resources and meet the diverse travel needs of the public, but also fundamentally solve the problem of overloaded urban traffic per unit time and alleviate the increasingly severe urban air pollution. On November 18, 2014, the company was officially listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
