(hereinafter referred to as the "Company") was established in June 2015, formerly known as Chongqing Testing and Certification (Group) Co., Ltd. In October 2020, China Merchants Group wholly established China Merchants Testing and Certification Holding Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "China Merchants Testing") with a registered capital of 2.5 billion yuan. China Merchants Testing completed the reorganization and integration of the former Chongqing Testing and Certification (Group) Co., Ltd. and formed China Merchants Testing and Certification (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., becoming the first enterprise in China where a central state-owned enterprise and a provincial-level testing institution completed market-oriented reform and restructuring.
The Company possesses approximately 2,400 sets of various testing equipment, with the original value of equipment amounting to approximately 58 million yuan. It has established 1 national quality inspection center (National Fire and Flame Retardant Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center) and 2 provincial and ministerial-level technology research and innovation platforms (Chongqing Fire and Flame Retardant Product Quality Testing Engineering Technology Research Center, Chongqing Enterprise Technology Center). It has obtained laboratory accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), qualification accreditation from the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA), and qualification accreditation and filing from industry competent authorities such as the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Fire and Emergency Rescue Corps. The Company's main business covers 6 major sectors: fire product testing and fire safety technical services, certification (dual carbon) services, special equipment testing, metrology testing, information security, and construction engineering testing. Based in the west and serving the whole country, the Company continuously strengthens its capacity building, enhances full-chain and differentiated service capabilities, and is committed to building a nationally first-class comprehensive service enterprise with strong industry influence, integrating inspection, testing, certification, standards, scientific research, and technical services.
