Xi'an Zhongke Weijing Photon Technology Joint-stock Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongke Weijing") was established in March 2015. It is a hard-tech enterprise incubated by Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on the R&D and production of ultra-fast laser high-end precision manufacturing equipment and providing solutions. It is the first unit in China to achieve batch application of ultra-fast laser precision manufacturing equipment in the aerospace field, and is a pioneer of the new generation of laser-based industrial mother machines. It is a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative "little giant" enterprise and a national intellectual property advantage enterprise, and in July 2022, it became a direct investment enterprise of the National Manufacturing Large Fund in Shaanxi. Related achievements were selected as key products in the large-scale exhibition "Great Changes - Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up" and the exhibition of achievements of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on its 70th anniversary.
The company has gathered more than 500 outstanding talents in the industry, of whom 1 has been selected as a leading talent in the National Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project, and 1 has been awarded the Top Ten Scientific and Technological Figures of Xi'an. It has overcome core technologies such as industrial femtosecond lasers, composite beam scanning, spatial light modulation, and adaptive positioning, and has taken the lead in developing three-axis to seven-axis laser high-end manufacturing equipment in China, achieving a breakthrough from 0 to 1 in China's laser precision manufacturing equipment and breaking foreign embargoes. Related achievements have won nearly 10 awards including the First Prize of Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award and the CAS Science and Development Award, with more than 380 patent applications and 170 authorized patents. Scientific research achievements have been successfully applied to strategic fields with high technical barriers such as aviation, aerospace, and electronics, providing them with autonomous and controllable new laser-based industrial mother machines, solving special processing problems such as precision hole drilling, fine cutting, and high-precision etching of complex microstructures in various fields.
The company has established a sales network radiating nationwide with Xi'an as its headquarters, expanded by subsidiaries including Xi'an Zhongke Weixing, Guangdong Zhongke Weijing, and the German Innovation Center, and with service outlets in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenyang, Guiyang, Zhuzhou, Harbin, and Suzhou. In the future, Zhongke Weijing will focus on developing disruptive and comprehensive laser extreme manufacturing technologies and equipment, promoting the autonomy and localization of high-end laser manufacturing equipment, exploring new uses in fields such as aerospace power systems and electronic packaging, building a leading listed enterprise in high-end laser equipment, supporting the realization of national major tasks and the sustainable development of the national economy.
