China Light Industry Changsha Engineering Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as CEC), formerly the Planning and Design Institute of the Ministry of Light Industry founded in 1952, was renamed Changsha Design Institute of the Ministry of Light Industry in 1978, and is one of the earlier large-scale consulting and design units established in China. In December 2002, it underwent restructuring and reorganization and was officially renamed China Light Industry Changsha Engineering Co., Ltd.
