China Machinery International Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Machinery International, formerly the Eighth Design and Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry), one of the earliest large-scale comprehensive design institutions in China, was founded in 1951. It is a high-tech enterprise integrating engineering consulting, engineering design, general contracting, project management, engineering supervision, engineering survey, engineering construction, design and manufacturing of special equipment, equipment supply, and engineering technology research. It has more than 50 production units, over 10 research institutions, and more than 1,800 personnel in over 30 professional categories, including nearly 600 experts receiving special government allowances, APEC architects, IPMP project management professionals, researcher-level senior engineers, senior technical personnel, and various national registered professionals. It has branches in Beijing, Nanjing, Zhuhai, Hangzhou, Kunming, Xi'an, Tianjin, and other places. China Machinery International holds Class A design qualifications in eight industries, including machinery, architecture, municipal engineering, metallurgy, textiles, landscape architecture, and environmental engineering; Class B design qualifications in eight industries, including electric power, electronic communication and radio and television, chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical, agriculture and forestry, commercial and grain storage, textiles, environmental protection, and oil and natural gas; Class A consulting credentials in machinery, architecture, municipal public utilities, metallurgy, electric power, ecological construction and environmental engineering; and Class A qualifications for urban and rural planning, construction cost consulting, engineering supervision, as well as first-class construction drawing review. It also possesses design qualifications for pressure pipelines (GA, GB, GC, GD) and Class B engineering survey qualification. It has import and export enterprise qualifications and foreign contracted project operation qualifications, as well as general contracting qualification for municipal public utilities engineering (Grade I), general contracting qualifications for construction engineering and electric power engineering (Grade III), and professional contracting qualifications for building decoration and renovation, building mechanical and electrical installation, electronic and intelligent engineering, environmental engineering, power transmission and transformation engineering, foundation engineering, and special engineering. China Machinery International's business covers six major fields: industrial engineering, measurement, control and inspection engineering, civil building engineering, municipal engineering, environmental engineering, and energy engineering, spanning both domestic and international markets. It provides comprehensive services to customers, from design consulting, customization, and third-party testing of measurement and control products to the design and general contracting of test platforms. In civil building engineering, it has formed a full service chain from planning to design, landscape architecture, and architectural decoration, establishing technological brand advantages in more than ten types of civil building fields, including hospitals, schools, hotels, offices, commercial complexes, finance, sports, culture, ancient architecture, museums, and residences. In municipal engineering, it possesses strong technical strength and rich experience in engineering consulting, design, survey, and measurement for municipal water supply and drainage, urban gas, municipal roads and bridges, and other fields. In international engineering, through resource integration and scientific management, it explores international project operation models suitable for various businesses. Its business covers more than 50 countries and regions worldwide, spanning multiple fields such as industrial manufacturing, energy, transportation, petrochemicals, municipal works, and building construction, with remarkable expansion achievements.
