Waterdrop Bao is an internet insurance brokerage platform launched by Waterdrop Inc. in May 2017, operated by Waterdrop Insurance Brokerage Co., Ltd., a national insurance brokerage company approved by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, committed to using technology to promote inclusive insurance and provide customers with full-process insurance services from purchase to claims, ensuring a smooth experience. As of September 2022, Waterdrop Bao had cooperated with nearly 100 domestic insurance companies, offering 536 high-cost-performance insurance products covering medical, critical illness, accident, life, annuity, and other personal health insurance types, introducing many products for non-standard insureds and zero-deductible plans to meet diversified user needs, serving over 111 million insurance customers cumulatively. In the third quarter, Waterdrop Bao completed first-year premiums of 1.7853 billion yuan, of which over 90% came from exclusively customized insurance products, with critical illness insurance product contributions to first-year premiums growing 7.8% quarter-over-quarter, accounting for 28.6% of total first-year premiums, as the product structure continued to optimize. Waterdrop Bao combines "online efficiency" and "offline depth" to provide users with diversified insurance services. In 2021, Waterdrop Bao achieved a 100% online claim application rate, reducing average claim processing time to 15.7 hours, with the fastest claim processing time being 8 seconds, and simple small-amount claims settled within 24 hours. As of the end of September, Waterdrop Bao's offline brokerage sales force exceeded 900 people, with business expansion to 9 provinces and cities including Beijing and Guangdong. Waterdrop Crowdfunding is a personal fundraising online service platform designated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, leveraging mobile internet technology to play a role in "emergency relief," helping seriously ill patients and their families in difficulty. Fundraisers can initiate medical assistance through Waterdrop Crowdfunding and share it via social networks like WeChat, allowing donors to conveniently provide support. As of March 2026, approximately 494 million people had donated about 73.5 billion yuan through Waterdrop Crowdfunding to over 3.75 million seriously ill patients, with 9 people donating per second, and each fundraising case initiated receives support from 7 Waterdrop Crowdfunding staff members. Yifan Medicine leverages Waterdrop's large patient base served and intelligent matching system to conduct patient recruitment and other businesses, helping well-known domestic and international pharmaceutical companies improve R&D efficiency. It has established cooperation with multiple leading pharmaceutical companies and CRO institutions, and its recruitment platform has grown into a leading third-party patient recruitment platform with strong enrollment competitiveness in the oncology field. As of September 2022, Yifan Recruitment had facilitated patient enrollment in over 400 clinical trial projects, with more than 900 patients enrolled in the third quarter and cumulative patient enrollment exceeding 2,100, gaining high recognition from cooperative sponsors. Yifan CRO, based on Yifan Recruitment's unique competitiveness and digital capabilities, has built a clinical operations team with rich experience and has already launched clinical projects targeting rare disease areas. Waterdrop Public Welfare is an internet fundraising information platform officially launched by Waterdrop Inc. in July 2018, and in May 2018 it was officially approved as a charity organization internet fundraising information platform designated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, aiming to enhance the efficiency of charitable public welfare infrastructure and the use of charitable funds through technology, providing comprehensive support to charitable organizations. As of September 2022, the Waterdrop Public Welfare platform had cooperated with 107 public fundraising foundations, integrating various social resources such as charitable organizations, caring enterprises, media, and donors, conducting a series of public welfare activities in areas such as serious illness assistance, child nutrition, disaster relief, nature conservation, and special groups, launching 15,000 public welfare projects, with cumulative fundraising of 1.24 billion yuan and participation of 66.45 million donor visits.
