Nanjing King Long

Nanjing King Long Bus Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Nanjing King Long") is a joint-stock company established in 2000, and is a high-tech enterprise leading in new energy buses. Its current production base is located in Nanjing Lishui Airport Development Zone, mainly producing 4m-12m new energy light-duty vehicles, midibuses, coaches, and city buses; the products are complete in variety, reliable in quality, sell well in the domestic market, and are exported to overseas markets.
Since 2000, Nanjing King Long has undergone explorations, restructuring, reforms, and strategic adjustments. In 2011, Nanjing King Long implemented a major restructuring, with the chairman of the company being Mr. Huang Hongsheng, founder and controlling shareholder of Skyworth Group. Currently, it has two independent divisions: the Bus Division and the Light-Duty Vehicle Division. In 2012, the relocation and technical transformation project of Nanjing King Long Bus was officially launched. The first phase of the project invested 2.76 billion RMB, covering an area of 500,000 square meters in Nanjing Airport High-tech Industrial Park, with a building area of 270,000 square meters. After reaching full production, it will form an annual production scale of 20,000 new energy buses and 200,000 light-duty buses.
After 12 years of hard work and development, Nanjing King Long has a technical team of nearly 150 people, led by experts enjoying State Council special allowance, doctors, and masters, which concentrates the strongest research and testing teams and the latest technological achievements in China. At the same time, Nanjing King Long has established industry-university-research cooperation with the University of Michigan, Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Wuhan University of Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Jiangsu University, Nanjing Tech University, and Nanjing University of Science and Technology to deeply develop new energy solutions.
In 2014, the production base of Nanjing King Long Bus was relocated to Lishui Airport Development Zone, achieving sales revenue of 1.6 billion RMB at the new base, a fourfold increase compared with 2013; local employment has doubled year by year. On this basis, Nanjing King Long has also served large events such as the Nanjing Asian Youth Games, the APEC Conference, the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, and the National Memorial Day.
