As an important part of the "14th Five-Year Plan" strategic layout of Yuexiu Group, the pig breeding industry started in Guizhou as a key industry for Guangdong-Guizhou assistance. It is expected to achieve annual commercial pig shipments of 2-2.6 million heads by 2025, with a production capacity of 4-4.6 million heads. At the same time, adhering to the development philosophy of "environmentally friendly farms, healthy pigs, and linking agriculture with farmers", it actively explores new models of multi-story pig farming by building four major advantages: scale and intensification, advanced intelligence, lean management, and integration of planting and breeding. Guangzhou Kongwangji, as a subsidiary in the slaughtering business sector, was founded in 1878. It is a standardized pig slaughtering enterprise in Guangdong Province and a designated state-owned pig slaughtering enterprise in Guangzhou. With an existing production capacity of about 2.8 million heads per year, it supplies nearly one-third of the hot fresh pork in Guangzhou daily. Production is strictly carried out under multiple regulatory systems such as national quality control and quarantine inspection, ensuring the safety and quality of meat products from source to table in accordance with national standards. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, it will seize the opportunities of building the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, develop fresh pork wholesale and retail, segmentation and distribution, and freezing and storage businesses, supply the Greater Bay Area, connect with the Pearl River Delta, serve the Central South Region, and aim to become a regional meat distribution center and branded meat processing and distribution center. In terms of deep processing, the brand "Huangshanghuang" was founded in 1940. It is a well-known brand of Cantonese preserved meat, with pure raw materials and superior quality. It is a benchmark in the Cantonese preserved meat industry, enjoying high reputation and brand recognition. While adhering to traditional craftsmanship, Huangshanghuang organically integrates Internet technology, modern automated production, and traditional techniques, exploring the "Internet + smart factory" model for intelligent production in the industry, making processing more standardized, scaled, and industrialized. Its subordinated Yonghe Food Processing Center covers an area of 55 mu, with an annual production capacity of 24,000 tons of meat products, featuring comprehensive production functions and complete food processing licensing qualifications. The Fengkai Food Processing Center, with a construction start in April 2022, covers an area of approximately 70,000 square meters, integrating advanced equipment from both domestic and international sources. After completion, it will initiate the operation of dual bases for food processing. In sales, it has established 9 direct-operated stores, nearly 3,000 offline sales outlets, and nearly 6,000 distribution partners.
