Hubei Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Group Co., Ltd. was approved by the provincial government (E Zheng Ban Han [1999] No. 105) and established through the integration of five former subordinate companies of the Provincial Grain Bureau. It was registered and founded in June 2000 with a registered capital of 3.029 billion yuan. It was successively directly managed by the Provincial Grain Bureau and the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and is now a wholly-owned enterprise of Hubei Agricultural Development Group Co., Ltd. It currently serves as the chairman unit of the Hubei Provincial Grain Industry Association and the secretary-general unit of the Provincial Agricultural Industrialization Leading Enterprise Association. Hubei Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Group is the provincial state-owned grain and oil group with the strongest comprehensive operating strength in Hubei. It ranks 119th in China's Top 500 Agricultural Enterprises, 13th in China's Top 20 Agricultural Enterprise Industries, and is recognized as one of China's Top Ten Grain and Oil Groups, China's Top 100 Grain and Oil Enterprises, one of China's Top 100 Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprises, one of China's Most Influential Grain and Oil Groups, one of China's Top 50 Rice Processing Enterprises, one of China's Top 50 Edible Oil Processing Enterprises, one of China's Top 10 Rice Bran Oil Processing Enterprises, and one of China's Top 10 Crayfish Processing Enterprises.
