Introduction to Hubei Zhiyin Media Group Co., Ltd.:
Since its first issue in January 1985, Zhiyin has taken the lead in China's periodical industry by advocating the philosophical principle of "beauty of human feelings and beauty of human nature," with the first issue selling 400,000 copies and reaching 1.4 million copies by the third year, firmly establishing Zhiyin's brand status. Zhiyin has grown from a monthly to a weekly publication with a monthly circulation of over 5 million copies. It has been repeatedly rated as one of the top ten most popular national magazines, twice excellent periodicals, and double-high periodicals in the Chinese periodical array. It has won the highest award for Chinese periodicals—the National Excellent Social Science Periodical Award and the National Periodical Award—three times, and has been consecutively rated as Hubei Province's famous trademark for three terms. In 2008, Zhiyin Group won the China Government Award for Publishing, in 2010 it was rated as a national spiritual civilization unit in the news and publishing system, and in 2009 and 2012 it was consecutively rated as an advanced enterprise in national cultural system reform.

College Introduction
Wuhan Information Communication Vocational College is a full-time general institution of higher learning approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province and filed with the Ministry of Education, affiliated with Hubei Zhiyin Media Group Co., Ltd. It has nearly 8,000 full-time students. Located in Miaoshan Science and Technology Park, East Lake High-tech Development Zone, Wuhan, China's Optics Valley, the college is equipped with complete modern teaching facilities, covering an area of 648 mu, with a building area of over 200,000 square meters, total fixed assets of 220 million yuan, teaching equipment valued at 40.64 million yuan, and a library collection of nearly 600,000 volumes.
The college adheres to the principles of fostering virtue through education, serving development, promoting employment, and cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents. It offers 34 majors oriented towards the cultural media industry, information industry, and modern service industry. Among them, leveraging the platform of information technology specialty groups, it focuses on building two distinctive specialty groups of media, film and television, and printing and packaging, which have always been at the forefront of higher vocational colleges in Hubei Province. The college currently has 2 provincial key majors, 1 provincial brand-building major, 1 provincial characteristic-building major, 1 provincial strategic emerging (pillar) industry talent cultivation plan major, 6 provincial Chutian skilled teacher posts, and 2 provincial quality courses.
The college has a team of "dual-qualified" teachers with a reasonable professional structure, rich teaching and practical experience, and excellent quality. It has also hired a large number of experts, professors, senior journalists, senior editors, and senior engineers with profound academic attainments from well-known universities, research institutes, large media organizations, and related industries and enterprises at home and abroad to serve as long-term distinguished teachers and practical teaching instructors. There are currently over 500 full-time teachers, with provincial teaching teams and 6 "Chutian skilled teachers."
The college closely sets majors according to the market, industry, and occupation, vigorously promoting the alignment of specialty settings with industrial needs, course content with professional standards, teaching processes with production processes, graduation certificates with vocational qualification certificates, and vocational education with lifelong learning. It has built 1 comprehensive training center, 4 large training bases, 75 various experimental and training rooms, and 132 off-campus internship and training bases, including 1 national-level training base, 1 provincial training base, and 1 provincial internship and training base. The college has formed a "school-enterprise cooperation alliance" with many well-known enterprises and institutions such as Hubei Zhiyin Media Group, Yachang Culture Group, and Beijing Crystal Stone Technical Training Co., Ltd., establishing studios for new media operation, post-production of film and television, photography and camera work, TV news, commercial planning, network planning, book and periodical editing, graphic and image production, tourism online marketing, modeling design, conference speed recording, marketing planning, and logistics. The college has also opened a number of "order classes" in computer network technology, mobile application development, applied English, business English, secretarial speed recording, animation production technology, game design, and character image design, cultivating and transporting a large number of outstanding talents for cooperative enterprises and society.
The college has established a "national vocational skill appraisal institute," providing favorable guarantees for the implementation of the "dual certificate" system of academic certificates and vocational qualification certificates. Students in each major can obtain relevant industry vocational qualification certificates during their school period, thereby enhancing their employment competitiveness and receiving high praise from employers. In 2015, the employment rate of our college reached 93.39%, consistently leading among similar colleges in the province.
In recent years, the college has innovated vocational education models, improved the quality of talent cultivation, and achieved remarkable teaching results. Approved by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education and the Hubei Provincial Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, our college has taken the lead in establishing the Hubei Printing Vocational Education Group. Our teaching reform achievements have won the first prize of teaching achievements of the Ministry of Education's Teaching Steering Committee, the second prize of teaching achievements of Hubei higher education institutions, and the third prize of Hubei vocational education teaching achievements. Our teachers have won various first, second, and third prizes in the provincial vocational college informatization teaching competition and the provincial college (higher vocational) micro-lecture teaching competition. Student works of the photography and camera technology major have won the first prize and the best film award in the first Chutian College Student Art Festival micro-film competition in Hubei Province, and the first prize in photography and micro-film competition in the 8th National Educational Achievement Exhibition of "Splendid Years," as well as the best director and screenwriter awards. Students of the printing and packaging major have achieved excellent results in national and provincial printing industry vocational skills competitions, winning the province's best and the country's best in the student group. Students of the secretarial speed recording major have won the third prize in the national vocational college skills competition. Students of the business English major won the first prize in the professional group of the 2014 National College English Competition and the third prize in the POCIB National College Student Foreign Trade Practice Ability Competition. Students of the applied English major won the Hubei Province special prize and the national third prize in the English major group of the 2015 National Higher Vocational College English Writing Competition. Students of the character image design major won the gold award for creative bridal makeup in the national hairstyle and makeup competition and the first prize in the Hubei Province "Jinchu Cup" hairdressing, makeup, care, and nail art skill competition. The animated short film "Looking Up," created by students of the animation production technology major, won the best work award in the national college student entrepreneurship alliance competition. Literary and artistic works created jointly by our teachers and students have won the gold award at the Wuhan regional college art festival.
Students can also pursue undergraduate opportunities through various means in accordance with national regulations during their studies.
