Anhui Construction Engineering

The company was formerly known as Anhui Water Construction Co., Ltd. Approved by the Document Wan Fu Gu Zi [1998] No. 20 of the People's Government of Anhui Province, it was established by way of promotion by five entities, including Anhui Province Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Corporation, Jinzhai County Small Hydropower Station, Fengtai County Yongxing River Irrigation District Management Station, Bengbu Construction Investment Co., Ltd., and Anhui Province Water Conservancy and Hydropower Survey and Design Institute. It was registered and established with the Anhui Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce on June 15, 1998. In November 2000, upon approval by the Anhui Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce, the company was renamed Anhui Water Resources Development Co., Ltd. On April 3, 2003, approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission under the document Zheng Jian Fa Xing Zi [2003] No. 25, the company publicly issued 58 million RMB ordinary shares to all secondary market investors through a pricing and allotment method.
In August 2019, the company name was changed from "Anhui Water Resources Development Co., Ltd." to "Anhui Construction Engineering Group Corporation Limited". The English name was changed from "Anhui Water Resources Development Co., Ltd." to "Anhui Construction Engineering Group Corporation Limited".
