Hefei University of Technology Design Institute (Group) Co., Ltd.

The Architectural Design and Research Institute of Hefei University of Technology was established in 1979, under the Ministry of Education of China. It holds multiple Grade A qualification certificates, including: Grade A for architectural engineering design, Grade A for engineering consulting, Grade A for general engineering contracting, Grade A for architectural intelligent system engineering design, Grade A for geotechnical engineering, as well as Grade B for urban planning compilation, Grade B for municipal engineering design (roads, water supply, bridges, drainage), Grade B for landscape architecture, Grade B for electric power industry (substation engineering), Grade C for highway industry (highways), Grade C for water conservancy industry (urban flood control, river regulation, water diversion and transfer projects, reservoir hub projects), and design qualifications for pressure pipelines (GC2, GC3, GB1, GB2). Currently, it has 116 professors, associate professors, and senior engineers, and 62 engineers. Among them, there are 5 Anhui Province Survey and Design Masters, 23 national first-class registered architects, 26 national first-class registered structural engineers, 8 national registered urban planners, 9 national registered consulting engineers (investment), 4 national registered public utility equipment (water supply and drainage) engineers, 4 national registered public utility equipment (HVAC) engineers, 3 national registered electrical engineers, 11 national registered civil engineers (geotechnical), 3 national registered cost engineers, and a considerable number of doctoral and master's degree holders. In 1999, our institute was recognized by the Ministry of Construction as one of the 76 backbone architectural design units in the country.
