Its predecessor was Shenzhen AVIC Building Equipment Co., Ltd., established in 2002. In 2009, it was renamed Shenzhen AVIC Building Technology Co., Ltd., and in 2023, it was renamed China Merchants Building Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.
