Hunan Weichu Law Firm was established in September 1990. At that time, it was set up by the Lawyer Management Division of the Hunan Provincial Department of Justice and was a law firm directly under the province. After 2001, Hunan Weichu Law Firm was restructured from a state-run firm into a partnership law firm. The firm currently has 58 nationally registered practicing lawyers, 12 trainee lawyers, and 6 administrative support staff, all of whom have a bachelor's degree or above in law. Among them, there is 1 Doctor of Law, 6 master's degree holders in law, 6 practicing lawyers with dual degrees, 5 lawyers qualified as certified public accountants, land appraisers, real estate appraisers, economists, or patent agents, and 2 practicing lawyers who have returned from overseas studies. All of them have been in practice for more than ten years and possess profound theoretical knowledge of law and rich practical experience in handling cases, forming an efficient, capable, and united legal work team with different legal specialties. It is a teaching and internship base for the Law School of Hunan University of Technology. The other three are Hunan Weichu (Zhuzhou) Law Firm, Hunan Weichu (Ningxiang) Law Firm, and Hunan Weichu (Xiangtan) Law Firm.
