Guangzhou United Trading Park

Guangzhou United Trading Park Operation and Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Park Company) was established in March 2010 and is a modern service industry cluster park.

The Park is located at No. 82 Xingang West Road, covering an area of approximately 150,000 square meters. The site originally housed 8 production enterprises, including South China Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. and Wuyang Honda (Guangzhou) Branch. Seizing the favorable opportunity of Guangzhou's industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as the implementation of policies for 'retreating from secondary industry and advancing into tertiary industry' and 'three-old' transformation, the Park Company has transformed the original old factory buildings into a modern commercial circulation service industry cluster park centered on spot electronic trading of bulk commodities, driven by fashion creativity and e-commerce procurement, and featuring multiple trading modes, thereby promoting the development of Guangzhou's tertiary industry and optimizing the city's industrial structure and spatial layout.
As a key demonstration project of Guangzhou's 'three-old' transformation, the Guangzhou United Trading Park has, through over four years of active exploration and research, gradually found a development path for industrial transformation and upgrading.

I. Innovating the electronic trading platform for bulk commodities to build a new third-party trading platform.
The Park has introduced South China's largest equity exchange, Guangzhou Exchange Group, to jointly build the Guangzhou Commodity Exchange and establish an electronic trading platform for spot bulk commodities. Leveraging a powerful online trading system, this platform adopts electronic trading methods, combining spot, medium- and long-term spot, and competitive bidding and buying modes, creating a new third-party trading platform for domestic and international enterprises.

II. Building a designer entrepreneurship base to incubate new fashion brands.
The Park has formed a strategic alliance with the Guangdong Apparel and Garment Industry Association and the Guangdong Designers Association to create the Xingang 82 Fashion Designer Creative Valley. Currently, nearly 1,000 outstanding designers from home and abroad have settled here, forming China's largest designer cluster. Since 2014, the Guangdong Fashion Week has been held in the Park twice a year. The base will lead high-end fashion design forces, integrate resources from the textile and garment industry, and effectively promote the enhancement of industrial soft power.

III. Expanding international cooperation and education to cultivate top design masters.
The Park has cooperated with the world's top fashion design and pattern-making institute, Istituto Carlo Secoli (Italy), to establish its first training center in China within the Park. Its women's wear and pattern-making courses are highly recognized and welcomed by the textile and garment industry. In the future, the Park will maintain close communication with fashion design powerhouses such as France, the UK, and South Korea, and introduce more top design institutes. Future design masters will step onto the world stage from here.
IV. Building a textile and garment e-commerce procurement center to focus on new forms of industry development.
The Park vigorously introduces high-end domestic and international textile and garment e-commerce and headquarters economy, while bringing in supporting service enterprises such as advertising, logistics, photography, and online promotion, forming an e-commerce cluster, building a regional e-commerce headquarters, and driving the transformation and upgrading of the entire textile and garment industry chain.

Provincial, municipal, and district government departments at all levels in Guangdong attach great importance to the Park's renovation work, listing the project as a key demonstration project of the province and city's 'three-old' transformation and a key construction project under the 'three major breakthroughs'. Meanwhile, the Park has successfully passed the industrial orientation certification of the 'retreating from secondary industry and advancing into tertiary industry' project in Haizhu District.

In addition, the Park has been recognized as a key construction project at the provincial, municipal, and district levels, as well as a 'Guangdong Province Modern Service Industry Cluster Park', 'Guangdong Province Top 500 Modern Industries', 'Guangdong Province Small Enterprise Entrepreneurship Base', 'Guangzhou City Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Demonstration Base', and 'Haizhu District Key Enterprise Carrier'.
