福建省西湖宾馆隶属于福建省机关事务管理局，系事业单位，实行企业化管理，主要承担省部级领导在闽期间政务活动接待服务工作。宾馆座落于福州市中心风景秀丽的西湖之滨，占地150多亩，建筑面积达10万平方米，拥有高中档客房296套，配备有6声道传译系统的国际会议中心，1500座戏院式的主会场以及各类型会议室42个，并可容纳1000多人同时就餐及举办华宴庆典、展览商洽、商务活动。配备游泳池、美容美发等休闲设施设备。餐饮主要菜系为闽菜、粤菜；餐饮特色菜肴有佛跳墙（曾进京作为宴请英国女王晚宴菜）、鸡汤氽海蚌，均获国家金奖。
