广东省航道测绘中心成立于2010年8月，为广东省航道事务中心直属正处级单位（公益二类事业编制）。广东省航道测绘中心是全省航道*具规模的专业海洋测绘单位，拥有工程测量、地理信息系统工程、海洋测绘多项资质，主要承担全省内河航道、沿海航道的周期性测量任务和电子航道图生产更新任务，航道测绘地理信息科技创新和技术标准编制工作。近年来还承担了智慧航道技术服务工作，积极推进航道时空大数据建设，建立电子航道图“源数治理体系、生产质检体系、产品服务体系、应用场景体系”体系框架。
