LG Chem (Guangzhou) Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned enterprise invested by LG Chem, the largest chemical company in South Korea, specializing in the production of engineering plastics (EP) and ABS. It is located in the eastern part of Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. LG Chem (Guangzhou) Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd. was registered in Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in 2002 with a registered capital of USD 8.75 million. The total land area exceeds 80,000 square meters, with a building area of over 20,000 square meters. The main equipment is imported from abroad. The first phase of the project has a total investment of USD 11.6 million, which has been completed and put into operation, with an annual output of 20,000 tons of engineering plastics. The second phase, ABS Compound, began investment and construction in November 2003, was completed and put into production in June 2004. The ABS project has a total investment of USD 5.9 million and an annual output of 20,000 tons. Currently, a large warehouse is under construction, and there are plans to build a South China Technology R&D Center within the next two years to achieve self-sufficiency in technology, thereby providing higher product value to customers. Since the company's establishment, it has received care from leaders at all levels, including the Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, so all projects have progressed smoothly. LG Chem (Guangzhou) uses blending and modification methods to produce various types of EP resins (PC/ABS alloys, modified PP, modified PBT, etc.) and ABS resins (extrusion ABS, flame-retardant ABS, general ABS). These products are widely used in industries such as home appliances, electrical equipment, and IT. The company's production and packaging equipment are all imported from abroad, and it adopts LG Chem's advanced process flow and production management methods to produce high-quality EP and ABS resins.
