The 905th Hospital of PLA Navy

Our hospital is a comprehensive tertiary hospital of the People's Liberation Army, and one of the first designated medical insurance hospitals in Shanghai. We have 1,200 beds. The annual outpatient volume is approximately 550,000 visits, and the annual inpatient volume exceeds 20,000 cases. The hospital houses one PLA-level research institute, four military-region specialist centers, and a number of specialized disciplines. It has large medical equipment such as MRI, DSA, 16-slice and 64-slice CT, PET-CT, linear accelerator, and whole-body gamma knife, with a total value of nearly 250 million yuan. The hospital covers an area of 161 mu (about 10.7 hectares), comprising 12 compounds. Among these, there are 3 medical practice sites, 8 residential areas for family members, and 1 non-staple food production base. The main campus is located at No. 1328 Huashan Road, Changning District, covering 51.7 mu, with 80,000 square meters of medical buildings. The medical practice site at No. 9585 Humin Road, Xuhui District, is 3.5 kilometers from the main campus, covering 36.6 mu, with 6,000 square meters of medical buildings. The medical practice site at No. 1 Junmin Road, Xinchang Town, Pudong New Area, is 45 kilometers from the main campus, covering 36 mu, with 6,600 square meters of medical buildings. As a designated medical insurance hospital in Shanghai, it has been awarded multiple times as an outstanding unit of the armed forces for military service, a civilized unit of Shanghai, and a model unit of supporting the government and cherishing the people. We always adhere to a patient-centered service philosophy, striving to provide high-quality, efficient, and reasonable medical services to the people of Shanghai and surrounding provinces and cities. It achieved the second-best score among 506 hospitals in the Shanghai health system's industry conduct inspection. It has also produced numerous advanced models, including national and municipal 'March 8th' Red Banner bearers and model practitioners of medical ethics.
