Aodong New Energy Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd., as a provider of travel solutions for new energy vehicles, is mainly committed to battery swapping services for electric vehicles, full lifecycle management of batteries, and commercial operation of battery swapping stations. As a high-tech enterprise in fast battery swapping technology, the battery swapping equipment developed and manufactured by the company has been successfully demonstrated and practiced at the Beijing Olympics, Shanghai World Expo, Guangzhou Asian Games, in more than 20 cities across China, as well as in countries such as Germany and Poland. Aodong New Energy, together with its strategic partner BAIC Group, has jointly developed pure electric vehicles with battery swapping mode, mainly targeting the operational market. Currently, commercial operation of BAIC EU series battery-swappable taxis has been initiated in Beijing. In 2016, Aodong New Energy will put 50 battery swapping stations into operation in Beijing, meeting the swapping needs of no fewer than 6,000 pure electric vehicles, with a swapping radius not exceeding 5 kilometers. The first batch of 10 battery swapping stations has been officially put into operation. By 2021, all 50,000 taxis in Beijing will be replaced with battery-swappable taxis, and Aodong will have built 500 battery swapping stations in Beijing by then. At the same time, Aodong will also promote the construction of battery swapping networks nationwide, forming a network scale of 5,000 battery swapping stations by the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan period.
