长沙医药健康职业学院是经湖南省人民政府批准，教育部备案，长沙市人民政府主管的医药卫生类全日制普通高等职业院校。学校矗立在长沙市南横线与武深高速的交汇之处，背靠浏阳河、群山环绕，毗邻高铁长沙南站、长沙黄花国际机场。
