On October 1, 1994, Daewoo Heavy Industries Machinery Co., Ltd. of South Korea invested US$57 million to establish Daewoo Heavy Industry Yantai Co., Ltd. To date, the cumulative investment has reached US$73 million, covering an area of 350,000 square meters. On April 29, 2005, Daewoo Heavy Industries Machinery Co., Ltd. was acquired by Doosan Group of South Korea, and the company name was changed from Daewoo Heavy Industries Machinery Co., Ltd. to Doosan Infracore Co., Ltd., becoming a new member of the Doosan family. Our company name was changed from "Daewoo Heavy Industry Yantai Co., Ltd." to "Doosan Construction Machinery (China) Co., Ltd.". The company primarily manufactures and operates excavators, forklifts, machine tools, and engines. In the future, it will also produce heavy construction equipment such as cranes and concrete pump trucks. The company has an annual production capacity of 10,000 excavators, 3,000 forklifts, and 1,000 machine tools, and has established over 20 branch offices and 3 joint ventures across the country, forming a comprehensive sales and after-sales service network.
