WTD Design was founded in Chongqing in 2005 by Ms. Gao Jinghua and Ms. Li Hui, established a Shanghai branch in 2011, and a Wuhan branch in 2021. With the design mission of "extending the vitality of space," the company focuses on professional design services such as landscape planning, design, and innovative research and development for high-end residential, cultural tourism resorts, urban commercial, and urban public projects. Entering the era of stock, urban development has shifted from outward expansion to connotative improvement, and landscape, as an important factor affecting urban form and life experience, has acquired more diverse narrative value. Witu approaches urban space from the perspectives of landscape urbanism and humanistic landscapeism, taking landscape as the grand foundation, linking ecology, society, and commerce, reconstructing spatial value, inspiring the spirit of place, realizing the harmonious coexistence of people and land, city and ecology, and creating sustainable, pedestrian-friendly, and vital humanistic landscape spaces. With continuously breakthrough innovation and professional design management services, Witu has jointly created several high-quality projects with outstanding domestic and international enterprises including China Resources Land, Aranya, Wanhua, Chenjia, and Phu My Hung, and its works were selected for the ASLA award-winning book "New Vision: Eight Perspectives on Contemporary Chinese Landscape Design." The company's works have repeatedly won well-known domestic and international design awards such as the WLA World Landscape Architecture Award, IFLA International Landscape Design Award, AMP Architecture MasterPrize, and CREAD Design Award.
