Nanchang Sixth Hospital

Nanchang Sixth Hospital was founded in 1956. Its predecessor was the Outpatient Department of Nanchang Traditional Chinese Medicine Association. In 1958, it was renamed "Nanchang Xihu Hospital." In 1988, with the approval of the Xihu District Government, it was renamed "Nanchang Sixth Hospital."

The hospital currently covers a land area of 3,090.16 square meters, with a building area of 5,093.22 square meters. The entire hospital grounds are spacious and the environment is beautiful. The hospital has become the center for medical treatment, medical teaching, and public-funded medical care in Xihu District. In 1996, it was evaluated and approved by higher authorities as a Grade I Class A general hospital.

The hospital currently has 104 employees, with health technical personnel accounting for 85% of the total staff, including 2 with senior professional titles, 7 with associate senior professional titles, 24 with intermediate professional titles, and 59 with junior professional titles. The hospital has 100 beds, 24 clinical medical departments, 4 functional management departments, and 2 remote outpatient departments. The annual outpatient volume is nearly 130,000 visits, and the number of discharged patients is nearly 1,000. Its medical equipment, technical strength, and management level are at a leading level among urban hospitals in the city.
