I. Basic Information
Zhonghua Communication System Co., Ltd. is a state-owned enterprise approved by the State Economic and Trade Commission, enjoying the preferential policies applicable to high-tech enterprises in Beijing. It was originally directly under the Ministry of Electronics Industry and the Ministry of Information Industry, and later placed under China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. The company has a registered capital of 180 million yuan and is currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of the 54th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation.
In 1994, the State Council approved the promotion of domestic telecommunications management system reform. As the investment vehicle of the Ministry of Electronics Industry, Zhonghua Communication directly participated in the initiation of China United Telecommunications Corporation (China Unicom), becoming one of its founding shareholders. It also directly carried out the financing, construction, and operation of China Unicom's mobile communication networks in Hunan, Jiangxi, Shanxi, and Jilin provinces, as well as the Shenzhen-Zhuhai submarine optical cable communication system.
After thirty years of development, the company has grown into a comprehensive telecommunications service provider and big data analysis and operation service provider, integrating communication industry investment, communication network system engineering survey and design, communication engineering consultation and planning, communication network optimization and maintenance, communication value-added services, communication and information engineering supervision, building intelligence and communication information network system integration, radio monitoring, and Zhonghua Industrial Cloud.
The company currently has over 1,100 employees, more than 85% of whom hold bachelor's degrees or above, gathering an experienced technical and management team. II. Company Business Overview
1. Survey and Design
Zhonghua Communication holds the "Class A Qualification for Communication Engineering Consultation," "Class A Qualification for Communication Engineering Survey," and "Class A Qualification for Communication Engineering Design" issued by the Ministry of Construction, and carries out communication network survey, design, and consultation, covering information and switching networks, wireless networks, transmission and line engineering, communication power supplies, communication towers, and other auxiliary facilities.
The company has undertaken hundreds of national key communication engineering projects, providing high-quality telecommunications services to telecom operators, and has in-depth cooperation with Huawei in areas such as communication network optimization and data center construction. Meanwhile, the company actively expands overseas markets and has established strategic cooperation with Huawei. It once served as a design and consultation unit for Huawei and ZTE, with business covering more than ten countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, North Africa, and South America. Currently, as a shareholder and technical support unit of China Unicom, it provides design and consultation services for data networks and transmission networks for China Unicom in the United States, Myanmar, and Cambodia.
2. Communication and Information Engineering Supervision
Zhonghua Communication holds the "Class A Qualification for Communication Engineering Supervision" and the "Ministerial-Level Qualification for Information System Engineering Supervision," and is able to provide full-process, all-around supervision and consultation services for various electronic communication and information engineering projects, from feasibility study, preliminary design, to engineering construction and completion acceptance. It has completed over 200 communication and information engineering supervision projects for China Unicom, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Hualian Communication, the National Centre for the Performing Arts, and the China Radio International, involving specialties such as telecommunications engineering, e-government engineering, enterprise informatization engineering, donated intelligent engineering, electronic computer rooms, and software development application.
3. Building Intelligent System Integration
Zhonghua Communication holds professional qualifications including "Class A Specialized Design for Building Intelligence," "Grade I Specialized Contracting for Electronic Engineering and Building Intelligence," "Class A Qualification for Communication Information Network System Integration," "Grade I Construction for Security Technology Prevention," and "Grade II Qualification for Computer System Integration." It has carried out more than one hundred large-scale weak-current system integration general contracting projects across the country, covering building automation, computer networks, integrated cabling, security prevention, video conferencing, intelligent all-in-one card systems, and electronic information computer rooms, and has received unanimous praise from construction units.
4. Radio Monitoring
Relying on the 54th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation for technical support, Zhonghua Communication specializes in radio monitoring network planning and design, software development, system integration, R&D and production of monitoring and direction-finding equipment, and engineering construction.
The company provides products ranging from antennas, monitoring equipment, direction-finding equipment to system software, forming a complete product system. It can flexibly configure large/medium/small fixed stations, manned airborne stations, unmanned airborne stations, vehicle-mounted stations, transportable stations, and portable stations according to the needs of radio management and monitoring services, with technology level occupying a leading position in the industry.
5. Zhonghua Industrial Cloud
In line with the development trend of "Internet+", Zhonghua Communication actively explores and promotes the integration of mobile internet, cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Things with modern manufacturing, and drives the development of "Internet+" business as a new key focus of the company.
In 2015, at the invitation of the Jiangxi provincial government, Zhonghua Communication participated in the "Central State-Owned Enterprises Entering Jiangxi" project, taking Ganzhou as a pilot, starting with government affairs business as an entry point, and driving the development of the Industrial Cloud project.
In 2016, Zhonghua Communication cooperated with the Taizhou municipal government, based on Taizhou's main industries including "pharmaceuticals, energy, chemicals, shipbuilding, and manufacturing," to explore the development path of Industrial Cloud.
6. Hotel and Property Operation
Zhonghua Communication owns more than 5,000 square meters of land and over 12,000 square meters of property in the prime location of the East Second Ring CBD in Beijing, and owns two independent buildings with a total area of 12,000 square meters in the central area of the Zhongguancun Fengtai Science and Technology Park in Beijing, all of which have significant development and utilization value.
