Shanghai Huizhong Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Huizhong), established on January 11, 1992, is a National Enterprise Technology Center, a Shanghai High-tech Enterprise, and a Shanghai Patent Work Pilot Enterprise. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huayu Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. The company has 2 R&D centers (Shanghai Technology Center Headquarters, Ningbo Technology Branch Center), 16 domestic production bases (distributed in Shanghai, Yantai, Shenyang, Nanjing, Liuzhou, Yizheng, Ningbo, Baotou, Wuhan, Changsha, Foshan, Zhengzhou, Ningde, Xi'an), 5 joint ventures, and 3 overseas institutions (North America Office, India Subsidiary, Germany Subsidiary). The company's products cover chassis systems for passenger cars and commercial vehicles ranging from A0-class to C-class sedans, SUVs, and MPVs. It is a core supplier to vehicle manufacturers such as SAIC Volkswagen, SAIC-GM, SAIC Passenger Vehicle, SAIC-GM-Wuling, and SAIC Maxus. Additionally, it provides product development and manufacturing for well-known domestic OEMs including FAW-Volkswagen, Geely Automobile, GAC Motor, GAC Aion, Brilliance BMW, Beijing Benz, and Changan Ford, and has deepened cooperation with customers in the synchronized development of new energy chassis systems and components, continuously gaining recognition. Through years of training and accumulation, Shanghai Huizhong's technical R&D capabilities have reached the leading level, meeting customers' requirements for the design, manufacturing, and verification of various products. The Shanghai Huizhong Technology Center possesses a mature development system and synchronized development capability for passenger car chassis systems and components, and has been appraised as a "National Enterprise Technology Center" by the National Development and Reform Commission, and is also the "Shanghai Automobile Chassis Electrification and Lightweight Engineering Technology Research Center" awarded by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. Shanghai Huizhong has advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment including aluminum alloy differential pressure casting, stamping, electrophoresis, heat treatment, welding, machining, and assembly. Its testing center has passed the national CNAS certification and is equipped with advanced testing and inspection equipment such as multi-channel road simulation test benches, DK&C test benches, NVH semi-anechoic chambers, fatigue durability test benches, and chassis electronic braking system test benches, with complete capabilities for chassis system testing and certification. Shanghai Huizhong has successively passed ISO9001, QS9000, VDA6.1, ISO/TS16949, and IATF16949 quality system audits, ISO14001 environmental management system certification, OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety system certification, and the integration of informatization and industrialization management system assessment, and is a national first-level enterprise for work safety standardization.
