Doublestar Group

Doublestar is an old state-owned rubber enterprise with a history of 99 years. It is a state-owned main board listed company in the tire industry of Shandong Province, and the chairman unit of the Tire Branch of the China Rubber Industry Association. It once created a famous brand in the history of China's footwear industry. In 2008, the original footwear and apparel business was separated from the group after restructuring, and Doublestar fully transformed into the tire industry.
On January 16, 2014, in accordance with the deployment of the municipal party committee and municipal government, Doublestar shut down all its old factories (9 in total) through environmental relocation, and built the world's first full-process "Industry 4.0" intelligent factory in the tire industry and a first-class laboratory. At the same time, it has intensified scientific and technological innovation and cultivated three new industries, including intelligent equipment, industrial robots (including intelligent logistics), and green eco-friendly recycling of waste rubber and plastics. Among them, 80% of the equipment and industrial robots in Doublestar's "Industry 4.0" factory were independently developed and manufactured by Doublestar.
Due to innovation and intelligent transformation, over the past five years, Doublestar has been awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a pilot and demonstration enterprise for the entire industrial chain covering "brand cultivation", "technological innovation", "quality benchmark", "intelligent manufacturing", "green manufacturing", "green products", and "service transformation". Doublestar has also been rated as a "National Model Enterprise for Advanced Productivity" and won the "First Prize for National Excellent Corporate Culture Achievements". Doublestar Tire brand has been continuously listed on the "Top 500 Asian Brands".
In 2018, Doublestar officially took controlling interest in South Korea's Kumho Tire, which was once among the world's top ten. In the same year, Doublestar was included in the "Double Hundred Action" plan of state-owned enterprise reform by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
On January 16, 2020, Doublestar embarked on a new journey of "third entrepreneurship, creating a world-class enterprise".
