Shenzhen Heshuntang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005, with 'premium traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces' as its core value. Relying on its own chain of traditional Chinese medicine clinics (medical institutions) and hospital premium traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy sales system, it specializes in the wholesale and retail of premium traditional Chinese medicine and its derived big health products.
When Heshuntang was founded 16 years ago, the traditional Chinese medicine industry was plagued by chaos, with inferior and counterfeit drugs rampant. At that time, the top-quality Chinese medicinal materials in China were all acquired by foreign companies. Japan, the United States, Canada, Germany, and Australia were all vigorously developing traditional Chinese medicine. Seeing the huge gap at home and abroad, the founder of Heshuntang immediately resolved to let Chinese people take the best traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces!
With a simple original aspiration, Heshuntang started from acting as an agent for Japanese decoction pieces and gradually established its own chain of traditional Chinese medicine clinics, hospital premium traditional Chinese medicine pharmacies, and other series of sales channels. Heshuntang not only pioneered the concept of 'premium traditional Chinese medicine', but also determined the quality standards for hundreds of varieties of premium traditional Chinese medicine, and established a premium traditional Chinese medicine production base in 2009. With production capacity, Heshuntang stood tall, joining hands with origin suppliers to consolidate process management and supply channels at the planting end; on the other hand, it recruited excellent medical teams to enhance the user experience at the medical institution channel end.

The internal control standards for multiple indicators of premium traditional Chinese medicine are higher than those of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia (content, extractables, sulfur dioxide, moisture, etc.); water activity testing is conducted for all varieties to control microbial growth (the Pharmacopoeia does not require this); impurities in all varieties are controlled below 0.5% (the Pharmacopoeia requires below 3%).
At present, Heshuntang has built the largest premium traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces production base in China; cooperated with Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine to compile and publish the 'Heshun Chinese Materia Medica', the first in China compiled based on a company's internal control standards; founded 'Shuncheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Testing', a third-party testing center in the Greater Bay Area focused on traditional Chinese medicine and food testing; and has established more than 100 chain traditional Chinese medicine clinics in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and other places, 35 premium traditional Chinese medicine pharmacies in public hospitals, providing premium traditional Chinese medicine services to more than 1 million people annually.
