Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Equipment Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. The company is a major supplier of main equipment for nuclear islands and chemical equipment in China. Its main business scope includes: manufacturing pressurized water reactor nuclear island main equipment for second-generation improved and third-generation nuclear power technology, including pressure vessels, steam generators, pressurizers and other key components; large-scale hydrocracking reactors, gasifier equipment, hot and cold high-pressure separators, shift converters, heat exchangers, spherical tanks and other chemical pressure vessels; large-scale metallurgical, mining, water conservancy, electromechanical equipment and complete sets of extremely heavy engineering machinery equipment. The company has secured orders for key equipment and components such as steam generators for the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant Phase II expansion project, pressurizers for the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Phase II project in Pakistan, low-temperature reactor pressure vessels for Tsinghua University, and steam generator tube sheets for CGN's million-kilowatt-level nuclear power plants, and is currently in negotiations with the state to introduce third-generation nuclear power technology from Westinghouse Electric Company in the United States. By June of the year, the company will have an annual production capacity of 2.5 sets of million-kilowatt second-generation improved or third-generation pressurized water reactor nuclear island equipment (pressure vessels, steam generators, pressurizers, etc.), and will also have the manufacturing capability for 195MW high-temperature gas-cooled reactor equipment (pressure vessels, steam generators). The heavy workshop for nuclear island equipment has a lifting capacity of tons (700t × 2). The base is equipped with a Shanghai Electric *** wharf capable of berthing vessels of tonnage class, with a *** maximum lifting capacity of tons (with roll-on/roll-off berths for cargo over tons). In addition, a dedicated railway line directly connects to the base factory area, equipped with large loading and unloading yards. 2. Parent company introduction: Shanghai Electric Group is one of China's largest equipment manufacturing groups, with a registered capital of 9 billion yuan. In April of the year, it was listed in its entirety on the Hong Kong stock exchange (HK), becoming the first overseas-listed public group company in China's equipment manufacturing industry. Shanghai Electric integrates design, manufacturing, and sales, and is capable of undertaking complete equipment and engineering turnkey projects. Its products cover power station and power transmission/distribution industries, mechatronics industry, transportation equipment industry, environmental protection industry, and heavy equipment industry. Among them, a large number of products such as thermal power generation equipment, elevators, refrigeration and air conditioning, printing and packaging machinery have the highest domestic market share. Shanghai Electric *** Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Industry Co., Ltd., Shanghai Power Transmission & Distribution Co., Ltd., Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. and other listed companies, and also *** Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co., Ltd., Shanghai Heavy Machinery Plant, Shanghai Machine Tool Works, Shanghai Rail Transit Equipment Development Co., Ltd., Shanghai Carrier Air Conditioning Refrigeration Co., Ltd. and a number of other *** enterprises. Shanghai Electric has successively undertaken a series of national key engineering projects, providing high-quality products and services for a large number of key projects such as China's Western Development, West-to-East Power Transmission, West-to-East Gas Transmission, Three Gorges Project, National Grand Theatre, Pudong International Airport, as well as million-kilowatt-level thermal power and nuclear power, rail transit vehicles and platform system engineering, waste incineration and flue gas desulfurization projects. In future development, Shanghai Electric aims to enhance international competitiveness as its goal, implementing three major strategies: "intensive industrial development, advanced technology enhancement, and global integration of resources," to strengthen the Shanghai Electric brand and build it into China's leading and internationally advanced equipment manufacturing group. Starting in the year, Shanghai Electric Group responded to the national call and invested 6 billion yuan on the side of the Donghai Bridge adjacent to the Dayangshan and Xiaoyangshan ports in the Lingang New City of Nanhui District, to construct production bases for million-kilowatt-level generator components, nuclear power equipment final assembly, heavy-duty gas turbine final assembly; million-kilowatt-level nuclear power equipment components, coal liquefaction-to-oil equipment generators, petrochemical hydrogenation reactors; low-speed maglev vehicles; large-scale metallurgical equipment, large-scale forging equipment, large-scale cement and mining equipment, and marine crankshafts.
