CNOOC Ningbo Daxie Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Daxie Petrochemical") is the second largest refinery of CNOOC Group and an important strategic base in the Yangtze River Delta. Daxie Petrochemical has a crude oil processing capacity of over 10 million tons per year and operates nearly 30 large-scale production units including catalytic cracking, hydrogenation, reforming, and styrene. Among them, the 2.2 million tons/year deep catalytic cracking (DCC), 1 million tons/year gas fractionation, and 300,000 tons/year styrene units are currently the largest single units in China, and the DCC unit ranks second in the world among similar units.
