The High-Performance Numerical Simulation Software Center of CAEP was established in 2013 and is affiliated with the China Academy of Engineering Physics. The center is dedicated to the independent development of a general-purpose CAE software platform, supporting major equipment industry users to rapidly build specialized high-performance CAE software systems, and promoting the self-reliance and self-improvement of national CAE software. The center has now formed a 'center + company' operating model. The center focuses on platform architecture design, product development, and technological innovation, meeting the needs of national strategic equipment and leading the development of the cause; it is located in Beijing and Mianyang. The company focuses on module development and platform application, achieving integrated industry development; it is located in Beijing and Chengdu. The 'Molly Platform' is a general-purpose platform for high-performance CAE software independently developed by the center. Adopting a 'three-high and one-fast' development model (high output, high confidence, high efficiency, and rapid development), the platform has successfully supported more than 50 national strategic security and major equipment industry users in rapidly building specialized high-performance CAE software systems. In recent years, the center has won 3 National Science and Technology Progress Awards and National Technology Invention Awards, and has obtained more than 80 national invention patents and software copyrights.
